What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Are you aging strong?

Or are you just letting each passing year run its natural course on your body…feeling weaker, unhealthier, and slower as time moves on?

The truth is we can’t slow down time and we can’t live in a 20 year old body forever, BUT we do have some powerful tactics at our fingertips to make sure that we feel and function great for as long as possible.

Rachel Cosgrove is gracing us with her presence today. She is one of the most influential trainers and strength coaches in the industry, and she recently wrote a book appropriately called Age Strong.

As she was approaching 40, she set a personal goal of being in the best shape of her life by the time she turned 50 - and she did it.

In this episode she’s sharing incredible real life stories of women in midlife and beyond that are doing it, too, and how to go about it yourself.

Rachel really highlights the benefits of strength training during perimenopause and postmenopause, sharing how it can help alleviate symptoms and improve overall health. She also addresses common misconceptions about strength training and provides guidance on how to get started and find the right approach.

Takeaways

  • Strength training is crucial for women over 40 to maintain muscle mass, strength, and overall health.
  • Strength training can help alleviate symptoms of perimenopause and postmenopause.
  • Finding a coach or trainer can provide guidance and support in starting a strength training program.
  • Long-term consistency and progression are key to achieving and maintaining fitness goals.
  • Strength training can empower women to change their identity and become athletes at any age.

Some of my favorite quotes from this episode:

  • "I wanna get in the best shape of my life by the time I turn 50."
  • "You can do it. You just have to decide that you're gonna do it."
  • "If you're not doing something to put a demand on your body that is going to build muscle, build strength, you're going to lose strength."
