What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

We are going to have fun today. I’ve invited on Jammie Baker, a former Hollywood stylist turned mom who now has a virtual styling business.

And if you don’t think dressing yourself and what you wear has any bearings on how you take care of yourself and your relationship with your body, you’re wrong. Most of us women have a bad relationship with the mirror, and a big part of that is how confident we feel in our clothes. We don’t know what to wear that actually makes us feel good in our bodies. Jammie is going to help change our mindset about getting dressed and how to actually do it with confidence. Here we go.

I gotta tell you a funny story…

…About 2 or 3 months ago, I made a cry for help in one of my IG stories. I said, “Ladies, I need some fashion advice - I feel stuck, I’m always just wearing athleisure, and I don’t feel confident when I want to go out to a nice dinner…I just don’t know what to wear if it’s not sweats. So give me all the tips.” Jammie, the response to this one little post was unreal… I had over 100 personal messages. Half of those messages were ladies telling me where they liked to shop, but the other half were ladies saying “Please share with us what you find out!!”

It was one of those lightbulb moments that made me realize a lot of us women feel stuck when it comes to dressing ourselves, and there is clearly a connection here to our self-care and our overall confidence.

Here are the questions I asked Jammie Baker in this interview:

  1. Now you’re a former Hollywood stylist, but when did you have that same lightbulb moment and realize this connection - that your closet played a big part in your own self-care? (I love how you say that style holds power and one of the best ways you can feel confident every day is through getting dressed.)
  2. Why does our mindset matter before we enter our closets?
  3. So many of us women have goals right now…we’re pushing toward something and we may even be working towards a physical goal that we have for our body. What can we do to align our style with our goals, because it feels like it wouldn’t really have that much bearing on it?
  4. I know so many women that have a pile of clothes in the back of their closet that they’re hoping to fit into again someday. At what point is it helpful to hang on to these items and at what point should we just move on?
  5. Let’s talk about dressing for our bodies as they are right now. Could you break down the basics of understanding our body shapes and how to fully embrace that through how we dress?
  6. Finally, real quick: What are two or three staples that you believe every woman should have in her closet?
  7. To wrap up I always like to leave women with one simple action step that they can put into place TODAY. What is something that every woman can and should do today to feel more confident the next time she gets dressed?

My favorite quotes from this conversation:

“You’re never going to dress a body well that you don’t treat well.”

“Be a ruthless editor of your wardrobe and get anything out that does not fit you TODAY.”
