What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Whether your core muscles are weak or you have excess fat in the belly region, it’s common to feel like your midsection is a constant source of frustration and insecurity.

If you want to know how to build a stronger core and lose the belly fat, this episode is for you! We’re talking about what works, what doesn’t work, common myths about training your belly, and how to finally experience confidence in your midsection.

Liz Revilla is joining us on the show again today. She heads up our free Self Care Simplified FB group, and she says that “wanting a stronger core” and “losing the belly fat” always seem to be at the top of the list for fitness goals among all the women in the group. So we’re talking all about the Battle of the Belly today.

In this episode:

  • One of the biggest fitness struggle that women are battling right now: Midsection problems -  needing a stronger core and wanting weight loss around the middle.
  • Discussions around why it seems like our midsections seem to be this constant zone of insecurity, and how this can be so frustrating and discouraging.
  • How are these “midsection woes” directly related to being healthy in general?
  • Stronger core = less back and hip pain,
  • Less body fat around the middle = less instances of heart disease and cardiovascular diseases,
  • Belly fat is correlated with stress = more stress creates more cortisol a stress hormone, which causes more fat to be stored in the midsection.
  • Some common tactics that the listener may have tried to “fix” her midsection that just don’t work and why they don’t work.
  • Three things that you can do instead to overcome midsection struggles:
  • Understanding the difference between “spot reducing” and “spot strengthening”,
  • Begin strengthening your core muscles in a fully functional way, not just targeting your abs,
  • Slimming down with a general fat reduction strategy that combines consistent good nutrition with lots of movement output.
  • Some of our own experiences with our midsection and what has worked for us.
