09. How to Stay Motivated: Not Allowing Your Feelings to Determine Your Actions

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

This episode is the "kick in the pants" you probably need to get your act together. Today, we're talking all about motivation.

How often have you said, "I know what I need to do, I'm just not motivated enough"?

You're not alone. I think we all feel that having the right motivation is the key to accomplishing big things in life, especially with our fitness and nutrition.

But should we really be relying on motivation to determine our actions? And why is it that our motivation can be really high at certain times of the year, but really low at other times?

We're also going discuss good motivators vs. empty motivators, the kind that just don't last. Also, we'll talk about how to have good, positive influencers in your life to make sure your motivations are being appropriately encouraged.

your questions answered!

At the end of the episode, I answer YOUR questions about food, fitness, and faith/lifestyle!

  1. Haley asks (32:30)- “What are some good, plant-based protein options? I know I’m supposed to be eating protein with every meal, but I’m not a huge meat-eater.”
  2. Courtney asks (34:55)- “I’m several months postpartum and I’m still getting shooting pains in my pubic symphysis with certain exercises. Is there anything in particular I should be doing for this?”
