What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

You HAVE to set realistic expectations. Now, I would be a millionaire if I had a nickel for every time I’ve given that advice for workouts and nutrition. And shocker! that advice totally applies to your routine, too. I’ve got Ashley Brown joining me today, and she’s a mom of two, and the author of the Routine Building Handbook, and owner of Routine and Things. She is a genius when it comes to getting yourself organized and having a routine that you enjoy.

Now, Ashley’s name mind sound familiar to you, because this episode is actually a replay from the Fitness Simplified event that we hosted just a few weeks back. But this session about routines was so popular that I wanted to share here it here on the podcast, too. Even if you already learned from Ashley, lean in again…there’s SO MUCH to glean from her wisdom all about getting organized and having a good routine.

Let’s jump in.

(Here are the questions I asked Ashley...)

One thing you say (that I LOVE) is that “when women feel good, the world is better for it.” How does getting organized and having good routines help women feel good?

I’m excited about this conversation because I know a lot of women don’t feel good. They feel like every day they’re playing defense, just reacting to scenarios in the moment. We get to the end of our day and feel like we accomplished NOTHING that we hoped to, and feel like failures.

- What is one of the biggest mistakes that we make when trying to create a routine for ourselves?

- Do you think moms should copy the routines of others?

- What’s important to consider when building out a routine?

For so many of the moms listening, they really struggle with building regular workouts and healthy meals into their routine. For years, their self-care has gotten whatever minutes are leftover in their day.

- How can moms make sure that their personal self-care habits fit into their daily routine in a practical way?

- How can having a good routine simplify our life so we don’t burnout and get overwhelmed?

- How can we mentally be prepared for when our routine goes up in flames?

FUN Rapid Fire questions for you:

  1. What’s ONE THING that’s on your daily planner that you can’t live without?
  2. What’s the most disorganized part of your life?
  3. What’s the best routine advice that you’ve ever been given?

BIG TAKEAWAYS

Ok, to wrap up I always like to leave moms with one simple action step that they can put into place TODAY.

- What is one simple thought or tip that you would encourage everyone listening to implement for a better, more organized routine today?
