04. Your Pelvic Floor Should NOT be Embarrassing! :: with Jocelyn Bohnet, MPT in Women's Health

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

I'm chatting with Jocelyn Bohnet today, a women's health physical therapist that specializes in all things pelvic floor health: urinary and fecal incontinence, pain with intercourse, pelvic organ prolapse, tearing during delivery, and other pelvic issues. In this episode, we cover so much ground!

We discuss:

  • Pelvic floor muscles and general anatomy
  • Bladder leakage
  • Pain with intercourse
  • How to do a proper kegel, how many, and when
  • Abdominal pressure and posture
  • When to see a pelvic PT
  • Tearing, prolapse, "queefing"
  • And so much more!

Jocelyn says, "God made our bodies, God made our pelvic floor, and God made sex to be wonderful...And we need to not be afraid to talk about an issue in our pelvic floor region just like we're not afraid to talk about neck pain."

Stick in your headphones for this one...we get personal!
