Sometimes smoothie experiments go very badly, but sometimes they turn out amazing and you have to share. This one turned out better than I expected. It's loaded with produce and has such a creamy texture. So good! Make sure you blend this nice and fast to get it super creamy!I recommend this for breakfast or lunch. You can even make it ahead of time, freeze it, then thaw in the fridge for about one hour before you plan to eat it. Yum!
1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 medium banana
1 small orange
1 large handful spinach
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
1 Tbsp chia seeds (it's ok if you don't have them...just put them on the shopping list!)
1 cup ice
Place all the ingredients in a blender in the order listed. Blend for 30-60 seconds on high until smooth.
